Zombieland, which was an incredible movie and an instant classic if you ask me came out in 2009, so next year marks the 10 year anniversary. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (writers) (Deadpool) had a conversation with Vulture today on the subject saying:
“We’re going on the tenth anniversary of Zombieland. Zombieland came out October of 2009. We don’t know what you get someone for their tenth anniversary, but it may be a Zombieland 2” they also noted that they’re aiming for the release date of October 19, 2019 and if all goes as planned, Zombieland 2 will bring back Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin. Another thing they noted is that they are sitting on information that they can’t share yet but your wish for Zombieland 2 has been granted. Get ready to “nut up or shut up.”
