Don Mancini, creator and producer of the Child’s Play franchise announced via Twitter today that a Child’s Play TV series is coming.
The tweet was a small teaser of a gif and didn’t provide much information. It’s hard to tell if it will follow the last movie, which was “Cult of Chucky” having various versions of the killer doll or if they will continue the movie franchise while doing the TV series.
Who will voice Chucky? Don’t worry, earlier this year Mancini had a chat with Bloody Disgusting and confirmed Brad Dourif would return as the voice of Chucky, so it’s also likely Jennifer Tilly, who voiced his bride, Tiffany will also return.
During the chat Mancini also said:
“We plan to use Child’s Play in the title,” Mancini said at the time. “We want to definitely signal that we are going dark, darker than ever before. It’s going to be very creepy”
