In Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives Tommy and Megan trap Jason at the bottom of Crystal Lake at the end of the movie and someone recreated the scene in real life. Yes, you read that right. Someone built and planted a Jason Voorhees statue in 120′ of water at one of Minnesota’s popular dive sites. There’s a couple video of the statue I found on YouTube uploaded by a Curtis Lahr, according to one of his comments on his video, his friend made the statue and put it there, the comment said “My good friend and dive buddy built it and planted it.” This statue is awesome and is sure to catch some divers off gaurd. Could you imagine being a diver and just doing your thing and then BAM! You find Jason Voorhees complete with a mask and machete? It would definitely make my day, or ruin it. I guess that depends on if he’s trying to kill me.
The Statue was put there in 2013 and has been down there for so long that wear and tear changed it’s appearance, obviosuly. Below are two videos, the first one is after being planted and the second one shows you what a few years of water damage can do.
